Here’s a video of the roof collapsing at the Minnesota Vikings Metrodome stadium under the weight of snow.
Football
Mexican reporter for TV Azteca, Ines Sainz, in the US following quarterback Mark Sanchez, is alleging the NY Jets sexually harassed her while she was in the team locker room. Now before we get into the merits of the allegations we should take a look at Ms. Sainz. Literally, so here’s a few pics before we talk about this.
Ok, If these Jets players aren’t able to keep their tongues in their mouths when faced with a smokin’ hot gal like this, then shame on them. I mean damn! She sure beats the hell out of American female football reporters, but that’s no excuse.
If I’d have been in the locker room with this former Miss. Universe contestant I sure wouldn’t be throwing footballs to her in an effort to make her bounce up and down. No way. I might have rolled a ball to her, but I’d never toss one. Never. That’s just rude. Rolling is much more civilized.
I find it interesting that allegations like these haven’t happened in years. Maybe since the 90′s. But here we are with a Babe in the locker room and BANG!
Maybe it has more to do with the appearance of other female locker room reporters that we haven’t had this problem in so long. I mean come on, most of those women couldn’t fill Sainz’s thong if they tried. Ok, ok, most of them would actually OVERFLOW the thong, but that wouldn’t look so hot.
I guess if you’ve read this far you deserve it from me to be serious here. The fact is, the Jets behavior, if true, was terrible. So what kind of punishment do the players deserve? Counceling? Fines? Suspensions? Please… I think they should be required to put a picture of Sainz, from the back so they can’t see her face, in their lockers so they have to see it each time they are in there and remember how bad they behaved around an attractive woman because that kind of behavior won’t win them a good wife. Maybe a bad one, but not a good one.

ESPN has suspended Bob Griese for one game following a remark he made about NASCAR driver Juan Pablo Montoya.
During the Minnesota-Ohio State game Saturday a promo graphic was shown listing the top drivers in NASCAR’s points race. Chris Spielman, a fellow analyst, asked where Montoya was.
Griese said Montoya was “out having a taco”.
Montoya declined to comment and said he’d never heard of Griese.
It sure would be nice if people weren’t so obsessive over Political Correctness. I thought the remark was hilarious and I love JPM. I’m a huge fan of his, even though he drives for a second tier team. I love his candidness in interviews and his aggressiveness on the track.
This wouldn’t be any different if a French reporter asked where Lance Armstrong was and another responded, “Eating a cheeseburger”. That’s funny stuff right there!
This could have been a Vietnamese digging a tunnel, a Muslim making a bomb, a Canadian waiting for healthcare, an Italian making a pizza, an African-American trying to figure out if he really is from Africa, a soldier in Afghanistan waiting on reinforcements, an Irishman waiting on another pint, a redneck in line at Wal-Mart, a fatty chowing down at the AYCE bar, a Columbian doing a line (Montoya is Columbian), or any number of distasteful analogies. It wasn’t.
Hey, Griese didn’t say JPM was out cutting grass. Get over it. That was funny stuff right there!
EDIT: I see this is getting a lot of referrals so I thought it would be good to post this “Twit” from JPM:
jpmontoya: just landed in talladega getting ready to have some dinner and no im not having tacos for dinner!!!!!!

The man clearly has a sense of humor! I’m a bigger fan because of it.
Snyder Fires Coach Zorn.
Washington Redskins Head Coach Jim Zorn was fired by owner Dan Snyder after the Philadelphia Eagles gave the Redskins a drubbing in Landover, MD Monday night according to VP Vinny Cerrato. Snyder’s decision was in direct contradiction to claims last week that Zorn would finish the season.
An interim coach is expected to be announced within days, but expect Jerry Gray to get the nod. Mike Shanahan is expected to be courted heavily by the big spending Snyder in the off season.
Don’t be surprised if that’s the headline and story at some point this week as the Skins are losing at halftime tonight and don’t look to do any better.
It’s just too bad the person that really needs to be fired, can’t be.
The front office of the Washington Redskins is attempting to quell rumors of a coach change.
Redskins VP Vinny Cerrato, on his radio show “Inside the Red Zone”, said, “Let me start by making a few things very perfectly clear – Jim Zorn is the head coach of the Washington Redskins and will be for the rest of this season and hopefully into the future”.
He followed that by saying Zorn’s situation is “totally crystal clear.”
When told of Cerrato’s comments at Redskins Park after practice, Zorn said “I don’t necessarily have a reaction to that. … My deal is, I’m the head football coach. I want to be here the next 10 years. That’s my story. I have a contract. It says what it says, but I’m committed to these guys.”
Zorn had a good point, he has a contract. We already know owner Dan Snyder tried to hire Mike Shanahan demonstrating he wants Zorn out, but the timing isn’t right. You know darn well that Snyder would have bought Zorn’s contract out if Shanahan had said ok. That’s probably a sticking point. Snyder showed Zorn his power in the contract when he replaced Zorn as the play caller, but Zorn turned the tables and showed the signed contract with the financials to Snyder.
Here’s how bad things are for the Redskins according to Herm Edwards, former KC Chiefs and NY Jets head coach, he said the Redskins are more dysfunctional than the Raiders!
Edwards followed that glowing endorsement with:
“In reality, when they took the play calling away from [Zorn] and hired [Lewis], what they were saying is he is the head coach in title [only],” Edwards said later in a phone interview. “They had a chance to fire the guy if they wanted to. I just feel, at this point, when you get into the situation where you have to answer questions about what’s going to happen with the head coach, you’re losing focus on what needs to be done. Why now? They were better off not mentioning it.
“Logically, I don’t know if they can bring him back. Everybody knows he’s out.”
Now it’s all aobut timing. When will Zorn be out. Don’t be surprised if he doesn’t last the entire season.
