Weather
Of course I said yesterday that today would suck too, but it’s pretty nice out here in Virginia Beach today. Damn weathermen miss this all the time, don’t they?
All the technology they have and all I want is for them to get somewhat close.
Triple Doppler, Viper Weather, etc.
Maybe the technology is outpacing the meteorologist’s brain matter. Come on folks, get with the program.
So here’s my first entry and it’s about the weather here in not-so-sunny Virginia Beach of all things. We’re sitting in the middle of a nor’easter and it sucks. I hate these things.
In some ways they can actually be worse than hurricanes as they just hang around dumping rain on you day after day. Add some wind and it can get ugly. Ash Wednesday was a nor’easter, afterall.
The tides are running high, but they’re not cresting the bulkhead or anything like that. Some neighbors have lost power, but we’ve got power, phone and cable so all’s good at home. You just can’t go out and do anything.
Really depressing weather when it’s cloudy, dark and rainy all day. I hope it clears up tomorrow. I hate being stuck in the house.
