Since the presidential debate seems to be popular fodder today, I thought I’d weigh in with my thoughts.
Here’s what I think:
It would have been a waste of my time to watch it. My mind is already made up and there’s nothing either candidate could say that would change it. Honestly, no statement, reaction, or body language is going to change my mind at this point.
What I don’t get is why there are so many “Undecideds”. Everything you need to make a decision is out there, all you have to do is open your ears and eyes.
What issues are important to you and which candidate is closest to your view? Look it up and decide.
How in the world voters can wait until the very last minute to make this decision is beyond me. Your research should already have been done and baring anything crazy happening, your choice should be made.
In my case, if there’s an October Surprise that goes against my candidate, I won’t vote for the other party’s candidate. I’m sticking with the party in this election. The otherside is just too far out there.
Who am I voting for? Not Obama. He’s arrogant, flippant, inexperienced, and farther left than even his running mate. Now that’s saying something, farther left than Biden is quite an accomplishment. Obama should be proud.
McCain has the experience, strength, and insight to make things happen across the aisle and around the world. I hope he does because honestly, I’ve been disappointed with the last eight years.
I’m sure I’ll be touching on the election more, but that’s good for now. I have a wedding to get to.
