A friend from Galveston sent me a couple of rolls of Hurricane Tape. This stuff is awesome and I can’t tear it.
What I like most is that it doesn’t leave the adhesive behind when you remove it and it’s strong a hell.
I’ve used it for shipping boxes, as a “clamp” to hold wood together while glueing, to hold a couple of car part together while I made adjustments to them, just all kinds of things.
We have birds that like to fly into our rear windows while migrating, stupid birds, so I put a square of tape on the large windows so the birds would see it. Of course some birds still flew into the windows, but after 3 months on the glass just a little residue was left that quickly cleaned off with a paper towel and WD-40. After that long, I really couldn’t believe I wasn’t left with a mess like with duct tape.
Speaking of duct tape, I’ve ditched it for Hurricane Tape. Atleast until I run out. I hope to find it around here soon.
