Here’s a list of some shows I’ve watched, or tried to watch this Fall Season. Feel free to give your own assessments in Comments . I’d like to hear your thoughts.
I’ll update this Topic as necessary instead of starting a new one so the comments can follow along. You can click on the title above to save it.
Entourage: Love it. Never miss. Ari (Jeremy Piven) cracks me up almost everytime he opens his mouth. Dom is back. I didn’t like him the first time around and I doubt I’ll like him this time, either. Alan died on the golf course with Phil Mickelson standing by.
True Blood: Interesting show that I’m enjoying. If Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Bill (Stephen Moyer) hookup, then this could be over-the-top intriguing. Well they did hook up and she asked Bill so suck on her! We also got to see Sookie’s sexy bewbies!
The Mentalist: Starring Simon Baker appears to be a more serious Psych and I like it much better. We’ll see as it progresses if it can hold an audience.
Dirty, Sexy, Money: Last night’s season premier was great. I really like this show and Natalie Zea sure is easy on the eyes. Peter Krause, Donald Sutherland, William Baldwin and Blair Underwood star.
Dexter: Sticking with former Six Feet Under stars, Michael C. Hall is great here. If you’ve only seen him in 6 Feet Under then this character may shock you a bit. Jimmy Smits was a great addition to this show. Quite a coup for cable TV.
James Remar, David Zayas, and Lauren Valez are wonderful in support.
If you missed the any prior episodes, watch the first one of the season and it pretty much catches you up on what you need to know. This is one of my favorites.
Californication: Yeah, it’s pretty good. I watch it each week. I guess David Duchovny really lives the life….
Heroes: We love this show, too, but if you miss an episode, you better watch it on OnDemand before continuing. The preview of upcoming episodes with Clair and Peter look interesting. This show is full 360* entertainment. Ever check out PrimaTech.com, the comics, or any of the myriad of other interactive sites for the show? If you like Heroes, then check them out. It’s amazing what’s out there for this show.
The Shield: Michael Chiklis as Vic is The Man and Cox Cable sucks for not bringing this to us in HD.
CCH Pounder (What the hell kind of name is that?), Benito Martinez, Jay Karnes and the rest of the team fill this show out.
CSI Miami: It’s Horatio (David Caruso), what else is there to say?
Eva La Rue has a rockin’ bod and Emily Procter’s character is supposed to come out of her shell more this season.
America’s Toughest Jobs: If you like shows like Axe Men, Ice Road Truckers and Deadliest Catch, then you’ll probably like this reality show. The contestants have to do some of the toughest jobs in America including driving the Dalton Hwy, Bering Sea crabbing, logging, etc.
Eli Stone: Starring Jonny Lee Miller, I’m glad it’s back, didn’t think it’d make it.
Katie Holmes is scheduled for the Oct. 21 show.
Priviledged: Watched part of one episode and that’s it. Purely a teen-girl show, but JoAnna Garcia is nice to look at.
Fringe: I like it. If we could only figure out The Pattern.
Anna Torv is another hottie (I think I see my own pattern here!?!?). Lance Reddick who was in Oz and an episode or two of Law and Order, and John Noble make a nice cast. Mark Valley appears also.
Knight Rider: Can you say, “Ford Commercial”? Wednesday nights are pretty thin except for DSM. This show can’t even do a decent green screen shot. They look like they were done in the ’70’s.
Justin Bruening is terrible. Deanna Russo is nice to see and almost makes it worthwhile to watch, but it doesn’t.
Pushing Daisies: Haven’t watched it, but since it comes on Wednesdays, maybe I should. Still haven’t watched it.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Season premier was tonight starring William Peterson.
Warrick Brown (Gary Dourdan) was shot lsat season and dies in the first few minutes. Sara Sidle, Jorja Fox, reappears. I wonder if she’ll be back on a more permanent basis.
My Own Worst Enemy: Staring Christian Slater I’m really looking forward to this premiere. I liked the show, but Chevy came close to ruining it for me.
Life on Mars: Watching it now. Green screens suck here, too. Since I’m not really paying attention to it I’ll have to catch it again.
I did notice they showed the World Trade Center when he first went back in time. I got that, but I gues the producer thought it was important to reinforce the date by showing it again at the end of the show. I didn’t like that. Besides, the WTC was chopped into the video and looked terrible.
Based on the BBC show.
Eleventh Hour: Was on tonight but didn’t catch it.
The Ex List: Are you kidding me?!?! Another chick show. Sheeze.
Cane: Wish it didn’t die. I actually thought it would make it before Eli Stone would. A modern day Dallas.
