3 comments on “More Thoughts on Obama

  1. Obama only has to keep it quiet for a few more weeks, then he’ll have access to troops to keep all of the rest of us quiet.

  2. So would you like Palin and McCain to present their scores, in kind?

McCain has already been shown to have been in the bottom third of his graduating class, and Palin – well, 5 colleges in six years… hmm.

If you’d studied affirmative action, sir, you’d quickly realize that it doesn’t guarantee you a place in the university of your choice because of your status as a minority. You still have to have the appropriate SAT/ACT/LSAT, etc. In addition to Harvard, Sen. Obama attended Occidental College for two years before finishing up at Columbia. These are also higher ranked and thus “more difficult” schools to get into.

And if, to my question regarding the scores of Sen. McCain and Gov. Palin, you responded with “Scores and such and such are irrelevant – Those two have got requisite experience and leadership abilities!” then why must we see Sen. Obama’s scores in order to believe he was intelligent enough to attend the schools from which he graduated? And do we have the right to pry?

I say no. Stick to your schtick – thoughtless, baseless criticism of the “crazy liberals.” You’re very good at it.

  3. My Dearest Friend, David,

Thank you so much for recognizing what I’m good at. You see, I’m not good at many things, so those I am good at I try to be the best I possibly can be.

Now, you said, “McCain has already been shown to have been in the bottom third of his graduating class, and Palin – well, 5 colleges in six years.”

I believe it. There’s no reason not to, so show us Obama’s grades. They can’t be worse, right?

You also said, “If you’d studied affirmative action, sir, you’d quickly realize that it doesn’t guarantee you a place in the university of your choice because of your status as a minority. You still have to have the appropriate SAT/ACT/LSAT, etc.”

And those scores would be lower, dumbed down if you will, for minorities, because if the requirements were identically low across the board, he could have gotten in on his own merit. If all the students were held to the same higher standard then he wouldn’t have been admitted.

So what’s he afraid of by disclosing his records? It would certainly answer all the questions and put this issue to rest once and for all. So again I ask, what’s he afraid of?

Maybe Obama knows he got into Harvard because of Derrick Bell’s calls of injustice. Or maybe it was pressure from Muslim Dr. Khalid al-Mansour, the man that most likely got him the HLR presidency. Oh wait, Obama doesn’t talk about that, either.

Maybe, just maybe, Obama is afraid to admit he had to use AA to get into Harvard in the first place. He’s embarrassed. That’s probably it.

You thought I might say, ‘“Scores and such and such are irrelevant – Those two have got requisite experience and leadership abilities!”’ You’re wrong, but thanks for pointing that out. It was very nice of you.

You finally ask, “…why must we see Sen. Obama’s scores in order to believe he was intelligent enough to attend the schools from which he graduated? And do we have the right to pry?” You liberals conveniently forget so quickly how you skewered Bush from day one about his Yale pedigree, questioned his school ethics, and questioned, no, demanded his grades.

You liberals tried to crush Bush in the media about his cocain use. Where’s the outcry from the media about Obama’s admitted cocain use? It’s different when it’s one of your own I guess.

So yes, liberals like you set the standard, and we should pry.

Thanks again for the compliment, David. Stop by anytime.
