Sean Avery of the Dallas Stars has been suspended for his “sloppy seconds” remark.
“I am really happy to be back in Calgary, I love Canada,” Avery said after
waiting for the cameras and microphones to get into place. “I just want to
comment on how it’s become like a common thing in the NHL for guys to fall in
love with my sloppy seconds. I don’t know what that’s about. Enjoy the game
Avery was referring to ex-girlfriend Elisha Cuthbert and was promptly suspended by the NHL. a move his team supported.
So Avery can go on the ice, beat the crap out of people, but when he exercises free speech he gets suspended. WTF is that about?
NBA player are the worst offenders and they don’t get this kind of treatment. Weird.
Frankly, he must be a sensitive little flower inside. They’re not together and he’s worried who’s gettin‘ some now. What a pansy.
Oh, if you’re sensitive and want to complain about this, don’t. Really, don’t.
