Washington Redskins head coach Jim Zorn may be replaced by former Pittsburgh Steelers coach Bill Cowher, according to a report from dcexaminer.com.
To keep it from happening Zorn needs to finish as strong as he started, probably having to win the Redskins’ final three games. We face Cincy and Philly at home, then travel to San Fran for the season finale. We’ll also need help to grab a Wild Card spot by getting loses from other teams.
The Redskins are collapsing after a nice, promising start, by losing 4 out of their last 5 games.
A team insider was reported to have said, “The honeymoon is definitely over.”
Other insiders said team owner Dan Snyder was upset with the lose to the Baltimore Ravens.
Clinton Portis blasted Zorn Tuesday during his weekly radio talkfest.
We struggle to score 10 or more points.
The offense is inconsistent as hell.
Including Zorn, the Redskins have had 6 head coaches since Snyder bought the team in 1999.
I’d like to see Zorn around for at least another year. We don’t need to learn another scheme so soon.
