Roland Burris, the man appointed by the crap-can disgraced governor of Illinois to take President-elect Barack Obama’s senate seat, is in Washington to claim his seat.
Many members of the senate are saying he shouldn’t be seated. As much as I’d like to agree, I can’t. We are a nation governed by laws.
The Constitution says the governor appoints the successor. The embattled governor Rod Blagojevich did just that.
I hate it, but that’s the way it is.
Seat the man.
